Alpine announce 2023 LMP2 driver squads

Alpine have confirmed the six drivers that make up their two-car attack on the WEC LMP2 crown.

The team haven’t raced in the category since 2020, but have an established record in the class including three Le Mans class victories and two championships between 2015-2020.

The French manufacturer moves out of Hypercar for the upcoming season before returning in 2024 with an Oreca-based LMDh. Could we see these squads locked in for 2024?

Notable signees including Alpine Academy driver Olli Caldwell who made his WEC debut with ARC Bratislava in 2021, and French star Charles Milesi who won 24h Le Mans and the WEC title in his maiden LMP2 year in 2021.
