Carlos Sainz retires his Ferrari after an incident with Piastri on the first lap, he pushed until 25 laps with the damage before retiring from the Belgium GP

After the start of the race Leclerc just leads the race in the first corner while Perez making an lunge to the inside of the corner which pushes Lewis Hamilton and Sainz on the inside and Oscar Piastri seeking the opportunity on the inside which pinches him between the wall and the Sainz.

Both Piastri and Sainz took damage, Piastri is out with major damage to the suspension and on the tyres, and after driving for 25 laps with the damage Sainz finally retires…
