
James Vowles from Mercedes becomes the next Williams Manager
Whoop! It’s in Williams announcing their new team manager – James Vowles. James is a 43-year-old British engineer and will officially enter the role of Williams manager (third in number) on February 20, about two weeks before the season’s first race.
James comes from a full technical understanding of the sport, he has been in the league for 21 years, and among other things he has been the strategy manager of Mercedes for the last four years.
“I can’t wait to join a team with such a rich heritage, the team is the symbol of our sport, which I respect a lot and I’m really looking forward to the challenge.”
Now how will James change the game for Williams, we’ll have to wait and see but yes you can expect some aggressive moves from him toward the driver’s strategy…
