Lewis Hamilton and George Russell into the barriers at the Austrian Qualifying

Lewis Hamilton and George Russell both crashed into the barrier which caused the red flag and the session got stopped…

In the Q3 Lewis was on the out lap where a wind gust caught the car and soon he was into the barriers which caused massive damage to the car, BTW he’s out of the car and he’s safe to race in tomorrow’s sprint. It does mean that he’ll be starting 10th and then George got out of the last corner after the first red flag in which the whole back of his car got damaged… So this is huge damage to the Mercedes and a lot of work to do tonight for the mechanics.

George Russell will start from the 5th so great news for him though. The Pace in the Mercedes was great today it ended in vain still, there is the sprint race tomorrow which gives Mercedes a good chance to get back to the top positions or where ever they were hoping…

Stay tuned in for tomorrow’s sprint race…
