Red Bull Ring track in Spielberg, Austria, renewed the contract it had and will definitely remain as part of the racing schedule until the end of 2030.
A bit of general background:
Formula 1 tracks are mostly privately owned, and the owners are responsible for operating the track. Formula 1 tracks are very modern and need to comply with strict FIA requirements to be able to host races, maintaining the track in standard is the responsibility of the track owner.
Therefore, when a route is announced, we will often say “Extend the contract until a certain year”, it is because the owner of the route (can also be a group of people or a municipality) signed a contract with the FIA until the year reportedly ended (with the option to extend sometimes).
Personally, this is one of the races I love the most and I’m happy to hear that it will stay…
